About the Clay

Why do I use different types of clay?

I want to use the natural beauty of the raw clay as part of my surface design. Why cover up something so rich in pigment?

I will have other glaze choices to come in the future but for now, the glossy white glaze paired with the earthy clay color work wonderfully together.

What clay bodies do I Use?

I use Standard Ceramic Supply Company clays:

• 211 Hazelnut Brown Clay

• 266 Dark Brown Clay

• 308 Brooklyn Red Clay
